The Secret of NIMH: Blu-Ray: MGM /Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment
Review by JAM
In 1982, Don Bluth made his directorial debut with the animated feature The Secret of NIMH, an adaptation of the novel Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH written by Robert C. O’Brien in 1971. Utilizing an animation style that changes shades and leaves the story dark and ominous when needed, this film amazingly transition to the Blu-ray world with the release from MGM/ Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on March 29, 2011 and it holds up to the time that has passed with an amazing story, beautiful animation, and characters you can care about.
