One little bump on the head is all it takes to turn this social misfit into a noticeable somebody. Well, a little bump and almost dying in the pool.
Mandy Gilbert (Ashley Tisdale) has longed for the day when she became someone at her high school. Being part of the lower class in her high school, feeling left out of the big picture, she tries to make her way into the upper crust and into the heart of a young man Drew Patterson (Robbie Amell) that everyone wants but truly only wants to get away. She is finally given the chance due to a chance meeting involving blurry vision, a diving board, and an unconscious dive into a cold pool. Not the best way to make a first impression, but Drew rescues her and starts a long involved process in Mandy’s life.
