JAM Reviews The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

The Chronicles of Narnia – The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: Blu-Ray/DVD with Digital Copy: Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment
Review by JAM

Years ago, four siblings found themselves in a living fantasy as they twice rescued a land in search of heroes and became royalty of Narnia itself. Now two siblings find themselves called back into action, along with an unwanted and unwilling stowaway of a cousin as Narnia needs its heroes once again.

In the first two movies, four Pevensie siblings save the day in the world of Narnia and grow closer in many ways as a family. Unfortunately in this third installment, Peter (William Moseley) and Susan (Anna Popplewell) have reached an age where Narnia can no longer be experienced which is convenient as they and their parents happen to be in America, leaving Lucie (Georgie Henley) and Edmund (Skandar Keynes) to spend quality time with their aunt and uncle, and their annoyance of a cousin Eustace Scrubb (Will Poulter). Upon finding that their happy reunion with their parents will be delayed for some time, Lucie, Edmund, and the unhappy Eustace find themselves drawn to a wall painting that seems to be more than it was previously, especially as they find themselves drawn into the painting and out the other side into the clear ocean waters of Narnia.
