JAM Reviews Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue from Lionsgate/HIT Entertainment

Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue: Blu-Ray/DVD: Lionsgate/HIT Entertainment
Review by JAM

Thomas makes his way down the tracks in a brand new movie adventure Misty Island Rescue. This marks Thomas’ first offering on Blu-ray alongside the DVD release and is filled with new friends and new adventures for our favorite engine Thomas. After helping with building the new Sodor Search and Rescue Center and helping a friend in need, Thomas is given a trip to the Mainland. As always, things do not go exactly as planned and Thomas finds himself adrift at sea until landing on Misty Island. New friends Bash, Dash, and Ferdinand try to help Thomas find a way home while Sir Topham Hatt searches the seas on a new friend Captain trying to find Thomas. Watch as Thomas learns more about his new friends and the island they reside upon, and works on finding his way back home.

Thomas’ release on Blu-ray technology will showcase the CG animation like never before, and is a great find for those families looking to add Preschool fun to their Blu-ray collections.
